We prefer these fans to all others as personal fans in the rear lounge. They are 12-volt and use less than .5 amps. We have one above each bed/couch.
You can get the fan from West Marine. The clothespin style clip came with these fans 30 years ago. Sadly they no longer do. However, we have noticed the clips on another fan at Dan’s Fan.
The neat thing about these fans is that you can put your fingers into the blades while they are spinning with no damage to you or the fan.
We plug them into 12-volt outlets we added. We can move them outside and clip them to our chairs or table to keep bugs at bay while enjoying the horizon.
